The experience
A different pace, together.
A morning song. A conversation with room to unfold. A quiet moment away from the phone.
In October 2026, Move With Intention partnered with Joy World Wealth Partners to bring people together for a retreat weekend built around movement, guided reflection, connection and time to integrate.
Joy World Wealth Partners is a wealth management firm managing approximately $50 million in assets. The collaboration brought a personal, experiential dimension to time spent together beyond everyday routines.
For Move With Intention, the intention was practical: create space for people to notice how they felt, try useful tools and consider what they wanted to carry into everyday life.
“I got a chance to rest. I got a chance to think.”

Pacing
Time between sessions was part of the experience.
The weekend moved between guided sessions and unhurried time to rest, reflect or talk. Participants could sit with what they had explored before moving on.
That space came up repeatedly in the follow up conversations. Participants described enjoying the pacing, being able to unplug and having room to let conversations happen naturally.
“I think it was so well done with allowing space.”

Practice
Practicing with the mind and the body.
Move With Intention's approach brought reflection into the room through experience. Participants explored breathing, movement, guided visualization, attention and the language they used with themselves.

Pause and notice
Guided breathing and an evening meditation offered time to slow down and pay attention.
Move and reconnect
Music, movement and shared exercises invited people to participate, connect and experience a different rhythm.
Take a practice home
Participants explored a simple anchoring exercise: pairing a chosen feeling, such as calm or confidence, with a small physical gesture they could practice again.

“I thought having that meditative wind down at night was so nice.”

Connection
The conversations mattered, too.
Connection grew through the group circles, shared meals and the time around them. Participants described opportunities to speak openly, hear different perspectives and be present with one another.
“So, this was the first one we've been to where it was, like, just a true retreat.”

For some, it was their first retreat. Others had attended several. Across those different starting points, the space to connect was a recurring part of what they valued.

Afterward
What participants took into the next week.
In follow up conversations after the retreat, participants shared small, specific ways the experience was continuing at home and at work.
A pause during the workday.
One participant described using the anchoring practice several times during stressful work moments.
Movement in the morning.
Participants described bringing the retreat song and a short dance into their morning routines.
A shared point of reference.
Two participants who attended together described being able to remind and encourage each other afterward.
These are individual reflections from the days after the retreat, rather than measured long term outcomes.
In participants' words
I think the pace for me was wonderful
Everything was balanced perfectly.
But to me, everything was, like, seamless. It was amazing.
